End of Year Letter

Dear Pine Bluff Mission Family,

Greetings! I hope everyone enjoyed a Happy Thanksgiving with your families and friends!

This month marks the second anniversary of Pine Bluff Mission and we have so much to be thankful for and to celebrate. In our second year we have continued to work with our churches, friends, and many partners throughout the Pine Bluff and Jefferson County community. We look forward to helping many people in 2022 via the ministries listed in Matthew 25:31-40.

As we can all attest, there is an ongoing need regarding food insecurity in Pine Bluff / JC. We are so thankful for all of the ministries and volunteers who continue to come together to help those who would go hungry without your help! You will recall last February when we joined together with volunteers from UAPB to help supply over 500 food and hygiene bags (provided by Convoy of Hope) for students who had to leave their dorm rooms for lack of water pressure.

Through financial support provided by churches and volunteers, Pine Bluff Mission has been able to help people remain in their homes versus being homeless. We have provided drainage systems to help keep flooding from occurring to foundations and sub flooring. Currently, we are working with a
mother and three children, who have been forced out of their home because of past due utility bills. These are the types of situations in which people are hurting and need immediate help. As Pine Bluff Mission, we are able to help those who may have nowhere else to turn.

We know that we have only scratched the surface of what really exists in our community and we know that if we continue together, we can meet many needs that would otherwise go unmet.

Thank you all for being a part of Pine Bluff Mission. May God bless us as we work together, in His name and unto His glory - in 2022!

Love in Christ,

Don Harris, Jr.
